Since transactions made under the Starter Plan incurs a 12% commission fee, this set up may put licensed practitioners at risk for violating certain laws pertaining to payment processing, referrals, and kickbacks, as well as professional ethics codes. Licensed practitioners are able to sign up for the Professional Plan and Directory Plan. Since these plans charge a flat monthly fee as opposed to being charged per transaction under the Starter Plan, most licensed practitioners who see several clients each month will end up saving in costs overall.
